PRIMAVERA was established in 2016 to engage in the development of high value added commercial real estate projects and to provide strategic commercial real estate development consulting services and advocacy to a select group of local, national and international clients.  Our clients share our core belief that both individuals and corporations only get one reputation in life and that reputation is the only thing we truly control.  All PRIMAVERA projects are selected with the twin objectives of undertaking successful projects and enhancing our reputation for doing the right things for the right reasons.

Company founder and President, Kenneth L. Cantor has always worked hard to “do the right thing”.  Ken has always had a passion for architecture that evolved into a profound awareness of what makes commercial development successful both physically and financially. The Brighton Block at 9666 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta has recently been acquired by PRIMAVERA.  The Brighton Block is a 3 storey Edwardian era brick mixed use building initially notable because of its association with the photographer Ernest Brown who constructed the original building.  While the interior of the structure is currently in a state of disrepair, PRIMAVERA is planning to restore the building to its original state of prominence as a vibrant mixed use retail and office development.  The Brighton Block’s project team includes:

During his tenure as Vice President of one of Canada’s most respected developers – who remains a client – Ken was responsible for the development, acquisition and management of commercial projects including shopping centres, major downtown and suburban mixed use development projects; light industrial development; and high quality downtown and suburban office buildings with individual project valuations in excess of $500,000,000.  In total, this portfolio grew to include 4,500,000 sf of existing space and space under development in 24 projects. Throughout the exponential growth represented in those numbers, the quality and not the quantity of development within the portfolio and the growth of all the team members – internally and externally – remained paramount and included two BOMA Office Building of the Year awards for Qualico’s regional head office in Edmonton and for the 28 storey EPCOR Tower in downtown Edmonton.
